New Reception Parents
Children are admitted to our Reception class in the September after their 4th birthday.
Open Days
We understand Informal visits to have a look around the school before decisions are made are encouraged. You can contact the school office on 0161 633 1578 to arrange a meeting and tour of these school with our headteacher or attend one of our open days.

Applying for a Reception Class Place
From 1 September 2025 you can apply online for a primary school place.
You must complete your application by 5pm on 15 January 2025.

You will be notified of the school that your child has been offered by email, between 9am and 12noon on 16 April 2025. Alternatively, you can log into your account to view the school offered (this information will also be available between 9am and 12noon on 16 April 2025).
Starting School
Should your child be offered a place in our reception class, we offer many opportunities to support their transition into school.
Offered in the summer term before they begin:
-Parent Welcome Evening
-Two Stay and Play Sessions
-Come Dine with Us
Once September arrives, children have a short, staggered start to school life to acclimatise themselves to school life. We promote a positive home-school relationship we have regular opportunities for families to meet and communicate with school.
In-Year (Non-Routine) Admissions
It sometimes happens that a child needs to change school other than at the ‘normal’ time; such admissions are known as in-year or non-routine admissions. Children can be admitted to any class during the school year if there is a vacancy.
