Uniform
Key Stage 1 (Reception to Year 2)
- Grey skirt or pinafore, with alternative cotton school dress in blue and white stripe/check for summer
- Grey shorts or trousers (boys)
- Navy V-necked cardigan, V-necked pullover or V-necked sweatshirt. (These are to be plain except where parents have purchased school sweatshirts or cardigans showing the school logo. Please note, the purchase of uniform with the school logo is not compulsory.)
- White shirt, blouse or polo shirt.
- Grey socks (boys).
- White socks, navy or grey tights (girls).
- Dark shoes (preferably black). Trainers or fashion boots are not permitted.
Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6)
As Key Stage 1 except:
- White shirt or blouse (NOT polo shirts).
- Navy tie
PE Kit
The PE kit consists of:
- Plain white tee shirt
- Navy blue or black shorts
- Pumps (PE in the hall tends to be done in bare feet, but pumps are useful to have in school if the teachers decide to take them outside for PE instead).
This needs to be contained in a pull string bag, which is then kept in school.
Suitable outdoor sports clothing is needed for outside games lessons e.g. tracksuit, jogging trousers, sweatshirt and trainers.

Jewellery
- For safety reasons, jewellery is not allowed in school, with the exception of wristwatches.
- Ear piercing should be done at the start of the summer holidays. This enables earrings to be removed on the return to school. Pupils who come to school wearing earrings will be asked to remove them.
Hairstyles and Appearance
We are proud of how our children look as we feel it is appropriate and smart school dress. How a person looks is indicative of their attitude and also a way of setting the high standards expected in everything.
- All long hair should be tied back – practical headbands and bobbles only please (preferably in blue, black or white).
- Hair should be smart and appropriate for school and should be of a natural colour.
Hairstyles, which are deemed inappropriate or extreme by the school, are not allowed.
There must be no patterns or tramlines shaved into the hair and no severe cuts.
As guidance, hair should be no shorter than 3cm on top and 2cm on the back and sides.
Please note that the wearing of nail varnish or make-up is not permitted in school.
