World Book Day 2022

The whole school celebrated World Book Day on Thursday 3rd March. Our theme was heroes and villains!

All the staff and children joined in and we had lots of different heroes and villains from different books.

Here are all the classes dressed in their outfits. Can you find yourself? Can you find your favourite hero or villain? Do you recognise the books some of the children are from?

As is tradition in our school, each class walked around the hall to show the whole school their costumes and the effort that they had all put in. Have a look through the slideshow to see if you can spot yourself!

Story Teller

 As part of our World Book Day activities each Key Stage had a session with a professional story teller. She told a story to the children but brought it to life. She engaged the children and they had the chance to participate in the story. We really enjoyed joining in with the story and some of us were characters in the story!
