Kinetic Theatre 2020

The Kinetic Theatre for Science visited school on Friday 24th January and performed for the whole school in the hall.

The show was 'Lady Cecily's Sound Box'. It was about Roy Gee, a little known Country and Western singer who has truck trouble when he runs out of fuel in the middle of a black and white desert. He stumbles upon the Lucas' gas station where he and old Widow Lucas complain about the loss of the world's colour. 

Widow Lucas, mistaking Roy Gee for the son of a dead local man, instructs her son Kenny to spy on him using a periscope. In order to explain the periscope she also has to explain reflection and shadows.

The show was full of audience participation and there was lots of opportunity to ask and answer questions.
